We are happily married

It has been a different week so far.

On 13th, I was treated to luxury. My sister sponsored a groom-package in a well known men’s parlor. I had hairdressing, massage, facial and sauna. Wow! what a treat.

In the evening we left to Coimbatore. Sunday went without much ado. We went to get some dress and I gifted sun-glasses to my sister and brother-in-law as my wedding gift. (My BIL broke his gift today)

On 15th, we were first to get to the registrar office, so everything finished pretty quickly. The party started around 18h30. Surprisingly, whole of my team had come. It was a pleasant surprise. The party was simple but nice.

What followed wasn’t that good. On Tuesday, we left to Tuticorin. I had traveled in that route for the past 15 years and never got any hiccups. This time was different. We were 12 folks. The bus broke down around 2 in the midnight. Somehow we got home.

After a day, we left back to Coimbatore. Since my wife (hm…this phrase sounds so different) had exams, we left her in her house and came back to Bangalore.

Another unpleasant event: I fell sick of throat infection, cold and fever. Since it went unbearable, I consulted a physician. It didn’t stop there. Share markets in India fell so much that I had lost a lot of money.

So a week after marriage, we are happily married – they are all happy and I stay married.

P.S: It is just a sarcastic look at the events. I am elated to be married. It is a different feeling to have someone to annoy for the rest of my life.
