Folks might be wondering, ‘where the hell is this newly married guy’. Well, I’m very much here, but occupied with…hm..well not with those things that I would like or what you would think.
I was running everywhere to set my home. Only when one gets out of the IT-world, they realise that even with all the hype of ‘Shining India Inc’, rest of India refuses to come up to speed. I had to travel for about 10 km to register for gas connection and it was not just a single day but three days. And when everybody knows (or at least that is the assumption), that IT guys keep moving, they ask for address proof, stability proof and this proof and that proof. By the time, I got all of that done, I was tired of my life…I told myself, boy it is too early to give up.
Then last week, we went to Coimbatore. We watched ‘Pudupettai’. My sister and BIL didn’t like the movie, but I enjoyed every bit of it. The director conceived every frame pretty well. The art, the color, the concept is all brilliant.
From Sunday, my wife is here. We were in my sister’s house on Sunday. We came to our flats on Monday. It has been good so far. I get a bed coffee in the morning. Then a good breakfast. I don’t take lunch from home. Again a good coffee when I am back home in the evening. And later a dinner. As you can see, our lives revolve around food. She is a typical Tamil girl, in that she thinks it is the duty of a wife to feed her husband and bare kids! I’ve tried to convince her that life is more than that. Let me see how far I can make her interested in other things. So far, our conversations end before it starts.
