When I was an employee, things were very simple – every month I got my salary; end of FY get Form 16; file it by July and forget everything else. Of course you never know why you were only getting half of your CTC – reasons given to you are, taxes, deductions, reduced bonus and so on.

Being a proprietor is not easy – you have to keep all the receipts, know your bank transactions line by line, and prepare balance sheets 🙁 Not a happy thought. But that is what I am doing now.
