I’m typing this in the flight from Delhi to Bangalore. Purpose of the visit? To bring Rani & Piyo to Delhi. It has been a lonely (surprisingly I didn’t like this period of lonliness) 6 months ever since Rani left in August’09.

Since Piyo came to Bangalore (last weekend of Nov), I’ve been visiting Bangalore again and again – almost alternate weekends. It has been good to have Piyo in Bangalore – Joy, Mady, Appa, Amma grew fond of him and pampered him too.

But now life will be different. Piyo will be here. I’ll have to be more responsible. I’ve been thinking (or in terms of my Belgian friend Xavier, ‘bisecting & disecting’) a lot about how Piyo will adjust in Delhi. Rani has not been happy to be in Delhi – primarily because of lanugage but the attitude of Delhi walas can’t be ruled out too. Even I’m not very comfortable to be in Delhi. Given this condition, how will Piyo grow here is a major concern for me.

On the other hand, I’m excited about opportunity to see Piyo grow stage by stage. I’ll have opportunity to hold him, speak to him, hear him make noises and hopefully hear him when he says his first ‘dada’.

So it is a mix of both excitement and fear.
