Father-in-law is in the hospital for dialysis. Have not been progressing much, so Rani is going to Coimbatore to visit him. After coming to Delhi, after about one-and-half years Piyo is going to be away. Don’t know how both of us will handle.

Life is going on a fast track
independent consultancy; moving to delhi; working with govt; first kid;
and if that is not enough,
now i am an uncle….
yes, Joy gave birth to a beautiful baby gal last month.
She got high bilirubin as like Piyo, but the count was too high and docs suggested blood diffusion. It was a tense night. We all camped in Manipal hospital. But then there was a miracle. She got better. Though she was in the hospital for three more days, there was no need for blood diffusion. We were relieved.
Life is so different now. It is on the fast lane.

Second India Gate trip
Piyo enjoyed the earlier trip well. In fact, thats where he started to walk.
Now brother if Rani & his wife are here. Our initial plan was to go to Agra. But he fell sick because of heat. So we decided to go to India Gate with them.
We started by 4 in the evening since by then heat would subside. We reached by 5. We walked around the gate, took some snaps and then took a boat ride.
After a little refreshment, we travelled to the president’s palace. No we didn’t have a social pass, we were just roaming outside. Again, Piyo enjoyed the time. We would’be been there in the Raisina hills, where the Bawan is, at least for an hour. He ran, sang, yelled and all that without tiring any of us.
Then we went to Saravana Bavan for dinner, where again Piyo ate every thing he likes – kesari, dosa, pongal, and mini idli.
While coming back he fell asleep. But in all HR enjoyed.

So long but so soon
It’s just 40 min past 12. I have lived for 37 years and married for 5 years. What a life it has been!
I have hit the middle age. Have done many which I didn’t expect; never got to do what I had wanted to do. Am part happy, part sad. Wish it was different.

One more year in Delhi
When I took up offer in Delhi, I had mixed plans regarding staying here. Depending on the factors considered I choose to stay anywhere between 3 years to 7 years.
With many ups, downs and dilemmas associated with being an independent consultant, often I thought of leaving Delhi earlier than planned.
I got my contract renewed for another 6 months and thus planning to stay until September. It might extend to December, at which time I would have stayed for full three years here.
There are lots of plus here. The ones I miss are swimming and driving with family (have fond memories of driving to Tuticorin & Coorg). If I can do that here it will make the stay even more enjoyable.
How did I became so busy?
Last few weeks have been crazy busy. In fact I worked more than what I worked in private. Worked on all Saturdays and worked more than 12 hrs daily. I desperately need a break.
(but I am doing many useful things – for the country & myself. So proud too)
