We, all four of us & Rani’s mother, came to Bangalore to celebrate DJ’s first birthday. Joy has planned the celebrations in a grand manner.
Kids & Rani will stay here for a month or two. I return back tomorrow. We have planned to send Piyo to per-school from Monday. Hoping that he will adjust to school well.
He is growing up well and we are happy. Now that he has completed three months we will take him everywhere, first stop – Bangalore to see his ‘athai ponnu’.
And I am close to being an old man.
We bought a small cycle for Piyo today. He chose that after testing almost all the available cycles in the shop – about 10. He even wanted to try some bigger ones.
Soon after we arrived home-within about 30 minutes he took the seat out 🙂 It doesn’t fit any more. But he in love with the cycle. He has wiped it well, ride on it to every room, just parked it to go for sleep.
Rashes & swelling have gone down quite a lot. He did sleep well from 2-6. But when he is awake, he twists his body like having high body pain and cries incessantly. Hearing him cry isn’t pleasing.
It has been quite sometime since I have slept well. I often manage to sleep about 3-4 hours.
Tomorrow we might take him to paediatrician again.
Today morning Rani noticed reddish swelling in left leg and behind the ears. She took him to a paediatrician-same as for Piyo. She has prescribed drops for him & another for Rani. Obviously we are disturbed this has come soon after 40 days are over. Praying he gets healed soon.
Yeah, that’s what I would say about us, the men in our home. I struggle between the two boys. Jerry (btw my mom who gave a pet name of Piyo hasn’t yet found such a name for Jerry) is always hungry. It’s okay during the day (not for Rani though), but becomes difficult during the night. Add to it, Piyo wakes up early, around 6.30. And he wants to play with me from the time he wakes up. Energy of a two year old is unlimited, unfortunately energy of an old man is not so.
There it is, how we three are.
We had lots of concerns, since we were in Delhi and we don’t know the language. But today all of that was proved wrong and we are thankful for that.
Today morning, Rani complained that discharge started. So we rushed to hospital. She was admitted and by 12.56 she delivered a healthy baby boy weighing 2.45 kgs. Now we are planning to start democracy at home since boys will win 🙂
Rani & baby has come to room. They may be discharged tomorrow.
