What did I do today – 2008-12-13

An additional seat is introduced in train coaches; but the tickets don’t reflect. It has created a lot of confusion. #

Marriage over. Aparently men need to remove shirts and go bare chest into the temple. we roamed around the temple. #

got a mail that pownce is shutting down. Surprising that someone wuld buy and shut it down #
Charles theatre is demolished and a huge mall is constucted. Even tuticorin got mall culture #
Met few of mom’s close friends. Chatted some nostalgic memories. Good ones.. #
Started posting photos from nokia e71 to a mobilog – check ou http://cephire.vox.com ; i have’nt checked in a regular browser though #
going to tiruchendur murugan koil for a family friend’s wedding. Got up so early. #

Reached home. Heavy rains here; despite heavy taxes govt hasn’t done even basic facilitiess – water stagnant in all places. #

Police patrol in the morning itself in coimbatore. Is it regular or coz of mumbai attacks? #

Google maps freezes nokia e71 if gps & data reception is absent – like middle of nowhere as i travel in train. Happened twice. #

Google maps btr than nokia maps. Nokia keeps says ‘no online’ while i’m online #
Stuck just before coimbatore. Train delayed by an hour #
Reached hotel. With all thats going on in mumbai, glad to reach destinations. #
Going to topslip. Pretty late to go; we shuld’ve gone in the morning. We’re tired too #
Blackberry works in Coimbatore. But not airtel internet. Don’t know if its coz of vodaphone or blackberry. #
Google maps works; nokia maps doesn’t; nokia needs improve. #

Morning session was about vision, mission and values. Very interesting and motivating. Inspiring session by the coach – CEO #
Noon sessions were fantastic. So far sessions were intellectually challenging and intersting. Liked the first day session. #
Had a good discussion with another participant on being an optimistic and realistic. #

Going for a leadership training. Chance to interact with so many different folks. Hopefully it is good. #
Venue is good. First session went well as well. Got to rest. Sessions start from 6.30 #
In this month 2nd time I’m spending the weekend with strangers without family. Generally its not my type. #
