Electric Meter stolen

Rani just now called me and said that the electric meter for our flat in the apartment is stolen. On one side I’m pissed off and on the other panic. It is all not a major ones but one after the other something bad is happening and I don’t like it.

I have to have the calm to deal with this and resolve. Hmm…difficult weekend ahead.

Festivity Absence

Today is annual festivity in Tuticorin. Joy & Mady drove their car home (and made me more jealous since Mady drove in 7 hrs). We wanted to be there since it is the first festivity since Piyo’s birth. But due the climaxes & anti-climaxes at work, we couldn’t get there. Feeling little regret about it. Joy & Mady have been regular (may be 6 years or is it 8 or is it …don’t know how time is going fast and fast – btw I’m not considering the secret trips Mady made when courting the intelligent girl from our house)

Breaking streak continues

Piyo usually plays with anything that he can get his hand to. Apparently he played with the cold cream that I use (which is in a glass container) and had dropped it couple of times yesterday. Today morning when I opened it, it broke into pieces and fell down. Thank God it didn’t happen when Piyo was playing yesterday.

It did disturb me in the morning. Didn’t like the day to start with such incident.

May be it’s time to say good-bye

There is a frustrating tussle going on between the ministry & me on the terms of the contract. They have proposed an arbitary reduction of contractual fee and are unwilling for any negotiation. Their tactic seem to drag until I’ll give in. Dealing with this situation every quarter isn’t pleasant at all.

I joined a three months course two weeks back. After college this is the first course that I want to undergo and complete.

If the impasse continues, then I may have to say good-bye.

When I got this offer in 2008 Dec, I thought I’ll continue for 7 years. Once I joined , it came down to 3 years. Now it may be just year & half.

To be honest I too want to go back to South. I miss going to beach, st Thomas mount, PVR and on and on. May it’s time for that.

Elvis takes me to good old daysp

After a very long time, I am listening to Elvis – may be 2 years. I used to listen to his songs almost on a daily basis when in Belgium, so it was only natural to be transported to those days of cheers, dances, wines and all other romantic memories.

It’s not hurting, just a good old memory. I miss my friends though. Wish to meet them at least once.
